Hanoi - Tui - Excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. I really enjoyed listening to him and he made every effort to accommodate the requests my mother made to see original art.
Hoian - Nga - Good. Nga performed at the expected level, and we did appreciate the effort she made to wear the Vietnamese traditional dress
Saigon - Tri - Good. Tri performed at the expected level
Siem Reap - Benk - Excellent. We enjoyed Benk the most as he had in depth personal knowledge about Siem Reap, adding personal anecdotes where ever possible, and demonstrating skill in both Sanskrit, and English. I can't say enough about his approach of telling the full stories of each of the major places of interest and artifacts within.

Thanks for writing. We arrived in Hanoi yesterday and are staying at the Sunny Hotel, in the Badinh Dist,. We will be here until 14 May when we move into The Metropole in the Central District. We'll be there until the morning of the 17th when we leave for home. If you have time for a lunch or a morning or afternoon coffee, I would love to meet you and thank you personally for doing such a good job. I don't know which location would be better for you.
We loved the trip on the river. The boat was good, the crew was good, the cook was great, the scenery was fabulous. We have recommended it to our friends and we have friends who live in Saigon who are also interested in such a trip. Having the boat entirely to ourselves was a real treat. The boats that transferred us between PhnomPenh and Chau Doc was perfect and the young woman who was in charge of us was fabulous. The car that picked us up in My Tho was clean, the guide spoke good English and we arrived in Saigon in a flash. It was over all to quickly, but remains one of the definite high points of this trip. The captain of the boat was dependable, knew the river well and his skills in boat handling were very reassuring. I have spent a fair amount of time on boats and when I saw the river traffic I was at first concerned that he be skilled or else we could have been in trouble. But his actions quickly put me at ease. The food on the boat was absolutely superb. I think you should advertise that chef's trips as a Gourmet Cruise. He's first class. And I liked the combination of Vietnamese lunch and western dinners. It gave him a chance to show off his skills. Everything in the cabin worked as it should. It took us a day to figure out that we had to turn on the hot water in the shower and a grab rail in the shower would be helpful as the floor get slick when wet. But no complaints. Oh, I would have liked it if the captain had marked each days progress on the nautical chart so we'd have some idea of where we were.
Thanks for asking and I'm also recommending you to all our friends. Everything you promised happened. On time, cost what you said it would and was done by people who know how to do their jobs. They live up to your standards, Tu Quyen. Good for you. Let me know about meeting in Hanoi. martha

We have now been home for 2 weeks and have just celebrated our sons
wedding day.
Our trip to Vietnam has been the very best holiday and
overseas travel experience that we have ever had. We cannot stop
telling our friends and anyone who will listen just how wonderful it
was. The itinerary that you presented for us was so diverse and so well
organized we were continually surprised by everything your country had
to offer.
We appreciated the punctuality of tour guides and drivers,
the cleanliness of the vehicles and the broad knowledge of each guide
for their particular region. We loved the food, had lots of fun at the
cooking class in Hoi An, and loved the restaurants that were selected
along the way. We felt very special and thoroughly enjoyed these dining
experiences.
The highlight of our trip was the Mai Chau trek with Mr
Wah Hoa as our guide, and Tu who accompanied us and prepared meals
along the way. We felt totally immersed in the culture of the H'mong and
White Thai people, appreciating the natural landscape and farming areas
that we passed through. Not to mention the hospitality of the families
that we visited.
We hope to visit again in the next couple of
years, including Laos and other areas in North West Vietnam. We
thoroughly enjoyed Mr Wah Hoa's company and would join his treks or
adventures at any time. Could you please correct me if I have spelt his
name wrong, as I would like to have the correct spelling for my photo
album.
After hearing some horror stories from other travelers,
traveling with other companies with regard to handwritten names at the
airports, we noticed and appreciated the professionalism of your
company with our names clearly and consistently printed by computer
printout at every pick up point. (Not able to be copied by Taxi
drivers).

service on the junk was also very good and the food there was excellent. We
loved Halong Bay,

You'd mentioned that -- "We just get the promotion from
Hoian hotel 4* and would like to upgrade your hotel in Hoian from Van loi 3* to
Hoian 4*". We still stayed at Van Loi. Was there a change? The Van Loi
hotel was also good, so no complaints.

From the moment we set foot in Hanoi to our departure from Phnom Penh everything went exactly to plan and was to the highest standard. The travel arrangements went like clockwork. The flights, transfers, pick-ups etc were all efficient and punctual and meant that no time was wasted on any part of the journey. The hotels were of an excellent standard with service to match. Our five guides were extremely knowledgeable, informative, helpful and friendly. The dining arrangements were very good, allowing us to experience a wide selection of Vietnamese and Cambodian food in local restaurants. Our programme was full to overflowing but, as we were an individual tour, always flexible enough to meet our demands. The sights we visited were both interesting and spectacular, and our guides knew how to get the best from them.
