Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake honoured for sustainable environment activities

The Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake has won the silver certification
from Earthcheck for its sustainable environmental activities.
The Earthcheck certification is a scientific assessment with an index on
energy use, the use of water, gas emissions, discharge of wastes,
contribution to the community and sanitation. The index includes 1,000
companies from more than 70 countries in the world.
Earthcheck is a world leading web-based provider of solutions for the hospitality industry, focused on environmentally friendly development.
In September, 2010, Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake conducted activities to preserve tourism destinations. More than 150 volunteers from the hotel coordinated with the Australian Embassy and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to act for the “Clean up the World” campaign and clean the Kim Lien Pagoda for its inauguration.
